I’ve always enjoyed planning parties for family and friends but it wasn’t until I was working at a bank in the marketing department that I stumbled across event planning as a career. Since then, I’ve pursued my passion for planning events and never looked back.
Whew!
I left my corporate job in November 2014 and a quick month later, I was planning my first corporate event! At this point in time all I had was a Facebook page and my wide-eyed hope for something amazing.
In another short month, I got my first wedding inquiry! I was so excited by all this because it would be my first wedding I had to plan and things were falling into place.
After emails upon emails after the first inquiry, we sealed the deal and I was well on my way to be the proud planner for a May 2015 elopement in Belize on the small, private and oh so cute, Starfish Island.
This began my journey of planning several parties, corporate events and weddings.
Today I must say this is just the start of my career. I now have a website and my main focus, destination weddings in Belize.
