A full year of planning to celebrate my besties 30th birthday was a whirlwind. But during that one-week trip to Las Vegas we honestly had the time of our lives!
After purchasing our tickets we came up with the most detailed itinerary of all the places we wanted to see and things we wanted to do while in Vegas.
Liseli and I have been friends for over 10 years. (practically sisters) We have shared so many memories and this was the first time we went on an international girl’s trip together. I knew this would have been an adventure of a lifetime kind of trip and a chance to tick Vegas off my travel bucket list.
As we landed it was straight to check in and then out for the Las Vegas clubbing experience.
The following day we decided to do a Vegas strip tour. This unique tour, headed by a true local, took us to the most amazing little secret spots Vegas. We started off with the favorite casino, The Cosmopolitan – sexy, chic and trendy. We couldn’t resist but to take our photos under the chandelier. It’s a definite must see when in Vegas. It was the perfect first tour, especially since we wanted to do as much as possible in the short time we had.
We also enjoyed a night time sky bound adventure in the high roller observation wheel. A glass capsule took us on a 360 degree spin where we saw the amazing views of the bright lights and landmarks on the Strip.
As a teen I was obsessed with TLC’s hit show Cake Boss, so my trip would not be complete without making a stop at Buddy Valastro’s Cake shop and his Italian restaurant Buddy V’s Ristorante. The pastries are simply scrumptious. His signature cannoli’s…To die for! Oh, so Yummy!!! At the restaurant we enjoyed delectable, authentic Italian cuisine and tasty martinis.
We tried to make time for everything, so one of the nights we ensured to admire the spectacular show of thoughtfully interwoven water, music and lights at the Fountains of Bellagio. This show left us in awe. No matter how many times we passed the fountains we always made a stop as each show wowed us.
On our final day we visited one of the seven natural wonders of the world (and one of my bucket list items). Can you guess where?? All the deets will be in my upcoming blog.
Vegas was a trip of a lifetime. The weather was perfect and just what I needed. We laughed, we danced, we ate, we drank, and we had fun! I can say Vegas is definitely the entertainment capital of the world!
We’re already planning our trip for next year. Stay tuned to see where we will head to for our next adventure in 2019.
