Jambalaya, culture, history and design! Next stop, N’awlins!
The four day Inspire Design Workshop hosted by Lulu Alexander from weddings by LULU was the next stop on my Seminar Adventure list. I decided to attend this workshop in hopes of gaining the knowledge I needed to grow my business and gain more confidence in myself and my skills. It was definitely accomplished.
The workshop helped me to really tap into my creative soul using all the senses.
I loved the hands-on floral tutorials where I created my first bridal bouquet! I also did my very first style shoot where my imagination met the cutest wedding table setting you ever did see (if I do say so myself).
Speaking of senses, my sense of taste (my favorite sense) was truly delighted on the nights we had the most delicious, authentic local cuisine! All the girls mingled and enjoyed the yummiest food and wine.
I love surrounding myself with positive, like-minded people. Attending workshops like these really helps me build constructive relationships with others in the same industry like me. The Presenters were so inspiring when sharing their strengths and weaknesses, and encouraged us to learn from both.
If you haven’t had a chance, my previous blog post details my amazing summer experience at the David Tutera Symposium in LA. After attending these two amazing workshops, I’ve made the promise to myself of attending at least one every year. These experiences allow me to be inspired and gives me a chance to tap into new levels of my creativity. This is important to me because I want each event that I plan to not just be a party, but
an experience filled with moments that persons truly enjoy and always remember.
